Nancy Nancy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and moved to Minneapolis in 2001. She happily left the corporate world to join These Paws full-time in March 2006. She can't believe how fortunate she is to work with such wonderful dogs, cats, and clients every day. Nancy's truck looks like a PetSmart blew up in back - she has a myriad of treats, toys, collars, leashes, and special surprises for all her furry friends. Minneapolis is lucky to have Nancy roaming the streets every day - she finds lost dogs and returns them to their owners every week and is involved in many animal organizations. Nancy doesn't need a pet of her own right now because she's got at least 50 animals that are happy to call her Aunt Nancy!
KellyBorn and raised in the Twin Cities, Kelly has been an animal lover her whole life. She participated in the first ever summer camp for kids at the Animal Humane Society, and established the first animal welfare student organization at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she attended college. After graduation, Kelly moved to Virginia to work for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in the Domestic Animal Issues and Abuse Department. Having since returned home to Minnesota, Kelly has worked for Chuck & Don’s Pet Food Outlet and been a guardian to nearly 50 animal companions, including dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, fish, and horses. She currently resides in Minneapolis with her polydactyl cat, Floyd the Barber.

AnnieAnnie’s parent’s bought her her first dog when she was almost two; in hopes that she would stop sticking her hand in fences to pet barking dogs. 27 years later she still has all of her fingers and has never lived a day without at least one dog under her roof. She has also spent countless hours on her grandparents hobby farm in northern MN learning about horses and other random animals her grandfather happened to trade or buy at auction. Annie was born and raised in Fargo, ND and moved to St Paul, MN in 2009 to study acupuncture. She has since graduated and opened a small acupuncture clinic, for humans, close to her home. After realizing she needed more recovery time and less in-office time, she joined These Paws as a walker/sitter. Annie couldn’t be happier than when spending time with her four legged friends in the fresh air…the best way to build the day with positivity, promoting more energy for her patients in the afternoon! Annie is currently the proud mother of a 10-year-old human boy (Ayden) and a 5-year-old Goldendoodle (Ebony).

KassieKassie was born in Pennsylvania, and through a series of moves and adventures found herself in Minnesota. She has always had an abiding love of animals, and has owned a variety of horses, sheep, goats, cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, and more throughout her life. From an early age she knew that she wanted a career with animals. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician, and holds additional certificates in Pet CPR/First Aid and Dog Training. After 4 years of working at the University of Minnesota caring for research animals, Kassie knew she was ready for a change and joined the These Paws crew. She’s thrilled to be able to spend more hands on time with animals, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Kassie currently lives in Dayton with 5 dogs and 3 ferrets, and in her spare time enjoys spending time at the dog park, playing in the garden, and reading good books.

AlexaAlexa graduated from St. Olaf College and is working on her master's degree in marriage and family therapy at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. She joined These Paws in 2014 and loves being able to take a break from studying to walk dogs! Alexa grew up with three chocolate labs in her household, and now has a rescued cavalier king charles spaniel named Dash with her husband. If you can believe it, Dash ran with Alexa while she trained for a half marathon during the cold winter months of 2014. She's hoping to get up the nerve to do it again soon! In her free time, Alexa enjoys being outdoors, reading, and traveling.

JennyJenny has grown up with dogs, her first being a boxer named Odie. She loves nothing more than the company of dogs and enjoying the outdoors with them! She joined These Paws in September 2014 and is honored to spend time with new friends. She lives in South Minneapolis with her pug Suzy Q.
