Nancy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and moved to Minneapolis in 2001. She happily left the corporate world to join These Paws full-time in March 2006. She can't believe how fortunate she is to work with such wonderful dogs, cats, and clients every day. Nancy's truck looks like a PetSmart blew up in back - she has a myriad of treats, toys, collars, leashes, and special surprises for all her furry friends. Minneapolis is lucky to have Nancy roaming the streets every day - she finds lost dogs and returns them to their owners every week and is involved in many animal organizations. Nancy doesn't need a pet of her own right now because she's got at least 50 animals that are happy to call her Aunt Nancy! |

Annie’s parent’s bought her her first dog when she was almost two; in hopes that she would stop sticking her hand in fences to pet barking dogs. 27 years later she still has all of her fingers and has never lived a day without at least one dog under her roof. She has also spent countless hours on her grandparents hobby farm in northern MN learning about horses and other random animals her grandfather happened to trade or buy at auction. Annie was born and raised in Fargo, ND and moved to St Paul, MN in 2009 to study acupuncture. She has since graduated and opened a small acupuncture clinic, for humans, close to her home. After realizing she needed more recovery time and less in-office time, she joined These Paws as a walker/sitter. Annie couldn’t be happier than when spending time with her four legged friends in the fresh air…the best way to build the day with positivity, promoting more energy for her patients in the afternoon! Annie is currently the proud mother of a 10-year-old human boy (Ayden) and a 5-year-old Goldendoodle (Ebony).

Rebecca grew up in Bloomington and returned home to Minnesota after earning a bachelor's degree in music theatre. She has grown up with dogs of all sizes her whole life (seriously, her first Christmas present was a German Shepherd puppy!) and has never met a dog she didn't love. Rebecca has walked for These Paws since 2017, and she can't tell you how grateful she is to have the best job in the world, caring for your special family members! You have probably heard her singing and babbling away to get the perfect picture of your dog. She lives in south Minneapolis with her husband and enjoys yoga, painting, and cooking.

Layla has been a dog mom/aunt for most of her life. As a little kid, she told everyone that she wanted “10 dogs” when she grew up. Hey, a girl can dream!
After joining These Paws in 2018, she has never looked back. When she’s not pet-sitting or on walks with her furry friends, she is spending time with family including her nephew pup, Jasper. Someday, Layla wants to live in a bigger home so that she can adopt and care for senior rescue dogs.
